PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that suppresses discomfort resulting from no air current or a continuous air current to provide a living space with superior comfortability, and that reduces power consumption without spoiling the comfortability.SOLUTION: The air conditioner performs intermittent swing operation for alternating repeatedly a first state in which air-conditioned air is blown to a direction where there is nobody in the room by an up-down wind direction board and a second state in which the air-conditioned air is blown temporarily to a direction in which there is a person in the room by swinging the up-down wind direction board from the first state, the rotating speed of a compressor being made lower than before the intermittent swing operation by a compressor rotating speed correction value during the intermittent swing operation. |
