PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a vacuum insulation plate glass is provided to manufacture a vacuum insulation plate glass with a simple process. For a closing-off cap to function safely, an inorganic glass solder is applied on the periphery of the closing-off cap. When the inorganic glass solder reaches a specific temperature, the closing-off cap will be pressed down by a tool. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum insulation plate glass comprises two plate glasses (1,2) arranged with space between them and welded together on the periphery of the two plate glasses. The top plate glass (1) has one or more opening parts (4) for exhausting air between these plate glasses. Each opening part (4) is closed by a glass or a metal closing-off cap (7) after the exhaust. The exhaust occurs in a vacuum oven. An inorganic glass soldering is applied on the periphery of the closing-off cap. The closing-off cap is backed by a supporting member on the central location parallel to the plate glass and in a predetermined height above the glass solder. When the inorganic glass solder reaches its curing temperature, the closing-off cap is pressed down by the tool (9) under the vacuum condition for pressing the glass solder and shutting down the closing-off cap. |
