PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined body, a shock absorber and a method for manufacturing the shock absorber, enabling quality improvement.SOLUTION: A first member 21 having a female portion 41, and a second member 14 having a male portion 27 inserted in the female portion 41 at one end and an annular groove 28 along the outer circumference of the male portion 27 are fitted to each other. A plurality of joint portions 86 are formed on a side wall 85 of the female portion 41, are pushed in the annular groove 28, and are joined. A pressing member 99 pressed against the male portion 27 is formed so as to face a position of the male portion 27 axially different from the annular groove 28.
