PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuously cutting a metal plate by which a metal plate such as steel plate can be efficiently and continuously cut.SOLUTION: When the transfer speed of transfer tables 31-36 that are arranged at the inlet and outlet sides of a cutter 2 for cutting a metal plate 1 is set to v (m/sec) and the acceleration rate thereof is set to α (m/sec), the transfer tables 34-36 arranged at the outlet side of the cutter 2 are operated only for a period equivalent to two times of v/α to convey a metal plate 1A cut by the cutter 2 to the outlet side of a continuous cutting facility, and then the transfer tables 32 and 33 arranged at the inlet side of the cutter 2 and the transfer tables 34-36 arranged at the outlet side thereof are operated at the same time to convey a metal plate 1B positioned short of the cutter 2 to the cutter 2. |
