摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method satisfying the productivity of a reversible thermochromic solid writing body, capable of forming good handwriting in use because a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment contained as a coloring material exhibits coloring performance.SOLUTION: The reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment shows hysteresis characteristics with respect to a color density-temperature curve to exhibit the tautomerism between a colored state and a colorless state, begins to reduce color when the temperature reaches a temperature tto get completely colorless in a temperature range equal to or higher than a temperature thigher than the temperature tin a process in which the temperature is raised from the colored state, and begins to perform coloring when the temperature reaches a temperature tto completely perform coloring in a temperature range equal to or lower than a temperature tlower than the temperature tin a process in which the temperature is lowered from the colorless state. The reversible thermochromic solid writing body contains the reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment and a binder. In the method of manufacturing the reversible thermochromic solid writing body, the reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment in the colored state is used, and heating treatment is performed at a temperature lower than the temperature tto bond the binder, and thereby, molding is achieved.
