PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting type roof material without the need for excess members for joining roof materials with each other, and a connection structure and a connection method thereof.SOLUTION: The fitting type roof material includes: a roof material body 1 having a contour shape sectioned by a pair of long edge parts 1a and 1b and a pair of short edge parts 1c and 1d; and an upper seam 2 and a lower seam 3 integrally connected along each of the respective long edge parts 1a and 1b of the roof material body 1. The roof materials are connected to each other by piling up the short edge parts 1c and 1d on the other short edge parts 1d and 1c of roof material disposed adjacently to the roof material body 1, and the upper seam 2 and the lower seam 3 are fitted respectively to the other lower seam 3 and upper seam 2 of adjacently disposed roof material to connect the roof materials with each other in a girder direction and put on a roof. In the fitting type roof material, a step d is formed at one short edge part 1c and an integrally connected joint piece 4 is provided. |
