PURPOSE: An artificial marble containing a magnetic reactant, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily manufacture a cubic pattern on the artificial marble by applying the magnetic field to the artificial marble. CONSTITUTION: An artificial marble contains a base, and a magnetic reactant included in the base to express a pattern to the exterior of the base. The base includes a synthetic resin or cement. The magnetic reactant contains more than one compound selected from the group consisting of iron, nickel, cobalt, lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, and lutetium. |
