PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle warning device which is capable of clearly showing an operator the presence of an obstacle approaching the vehicle, without making it difficult to see the situation of the surrounding of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An obstacle warning device 100 comprises: a taken image acquisition unit for acquiring a taken image G of the rear scene of a vehicle 1; a travel path prediction unit which predicts the travel path of the vehicle 1 on the basis of a steering angle formed when the vehicle 1 moves back; a predicted course drawing unit which draws a predicted course line 60 indicating the predicted travel path and a distance line 70 indicating a preset distance from the vehicle 1 within the predicted course line 60 in accordance with the distance from the vehicle 1, superimposed on the taken image G; and an equal distance line drawing unit which draws an equal distance line 80 for indicating the position of a distance equal to the preset distance from the predetermined point of the vehicle 1, superimposed on the taken image G. |
