A battery pack equipped with a port replicator for a notebook computer is provided to expand a function of the notebook computer and offer the port replicator by installing the port replicator equipped with various ports for connecting the peripherals to the notebook computer to the second battery. The battery pack(200) contains battery cells and is mounted to the notebook computer. A connector board is embedded in the battery pack and forms a circuit for connecting the notebook computer and the peripherals. A system connector(230) is connected to the connector board and the notebook computer at to the outside of the battery pack. A plurality of ports(250a-250h) are connected to the connector board and the peripherals at the outside of the battery pack. A lock is installed to attach the battery pack to a lower side of the notebook computer. A power connection jack is installed to the battery pack to charge the battery cells. The ports include a LAN(Local Area Network), USB(Universal Serial Bus), mouse, keyboard, monitor, serial, and parallel port. |
