PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of degradation in handling property associating with reduction in film thickness in a solution film-forming process.SOLUTION: A layered film is obtained by forming at least a retardation layer A (A layer) and B layer by solution co-casting process. In the film, the A layer has a thickness of 5 μm or more and 30 μm or less; the B layer has a higher elastic modulus than the A layer; and an interlayer release force between the A layer and the B layer is 0.05 N/cm or more and 5 N/cm or less.
