摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and the like that are able to maintain bounce photographing automatically without relying on a photographing posture.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus having an imaging lens, a strobe device, and a body provided with the imaging lens and the strobe device comprises: a sensor configured to detect the inclination of the body within a plane parallel to a Y-Z plane, in which an imaging plane is a rectangle of two different lengths orthogonal to each other, an optical axis vertical to the imaging plane is represented by an X axis, an axis parallel to one side of the imaging plane is represented by a Y axis, and an axis orthogonal to the X and Y axes and parallel to another side of the imaging plane is represented by a Z axis; setting means for setting an irradiation optical axis for strobe light with respect to the optical axis; and a rotation control unit configured to rotatably drive the strobe device around at least one of first and second axes so as to maintain the irradiation optical axis of the strobe light on the basis of the result of inclination detection, the first axis being parallel to the Y axis enabling rotation within a plane parallel to the X-Z plane and the second axis being parallel to the Z axis enabling rotation within a plane parallel to an X-Y plane.
