PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a conveyor belt, the rubber composition that provides the conveyor belt having superior tear resistance, abrasion resistance, and low loss property to be fabricated, and to provide a conveyor belt having superior tear resistance, abrasion resistance, and low loss property.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a conveyor belt contains a butadiene-based polymer in an amount of 40-70 mass% having a cis-1, 4-bond content of ≥94% in a 1, 3-butadiene monomer unit and 2-5 pts.mass of zinc oxide having a specific surface area of ≥40 m/g per 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing a diene-based polymer in an amount of 30-60 mass%. |
