PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection device capable of suitably receiving an occupant by a front bag, even if the front bag and a side bag are kept in an inflated state together to be superposed on a vehicle width direction side.SOLUTION: An occupant protection device M includes a front bag 20 disposed in front of an occupant MP upon completion of inflation, and a side bag 35 disposed on the side of the occupant MP upon completion of inflation. The front bag 20 includes a vent hole 23 discharging excessive inflation gas flowing inside to sidewalls disposed on both right and left sides, upon completion of inflation. Upon completion of inflation, the side bag 35 has a proximity inflation portion 43 superposed on the inflated front bag 20 at the vehicle outside along the vehicle width direction, and has a disposed discharge flow path 59, suppressing blocking of the vent hole 23 and allowing discharge of the inflation gas discharged from the vent hole 23, in a region superposed on the vent hole 23 at the proximity inflation portion 43 at the vehicle outside along the vehicle width direction. |
