PURPOSE: Radiation shield support apparatus for superconducting rotary machine is provided to prevent heat penetration by arranging superconducting material and bobbin in a hollow unit. CONSTITUTION: A radiation shield is engaged with the outer surface of a yoke. The radiation shield forms a hollow unit (31). A bobbin (32) is arranged inside of the hollow. A superconducting material (20) is installed in the bobbin. The yoke and radiation shield are connected through a kevlar cable.
