PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for casting a cylinder head and a method for casting the cylinder head, capable of reducing cost and improving yield by reducing a feeder head.SOLUTION: The mold for casting a cylinder head includes: a main die 10 for pouring a molten metal from a sprue 13 which is arranged at an upper part; an upper die 20 which is disposed in an upper inside of the main die 10 and forming a cylinder head product part 51 between the main die 10 and itself; and a heater 30 for heating a feeder head 23, which is arranged in an inside of the upper die 20 and is arranged above the upper surface 51a of the cylinder head product part 51.
