PURPOSE: A rail installation structure for a sliding door is provided to facilitate the maintenance and repairing of a rail and to reduce costs thereof because the rail can be separated and reinstalled without breaking a receiving part. CONSTITUTION: A rail installation structure for a sliding door comprises a rail fixing member(10), a L-shaped cross sectional side rail(20), an access panel(50), multiple wedges(25), and fastening members(40). The rail fixing member is positioned on the top of a door frame and is installed throughout the top of an entrance and a receiving part. The rail fixing member has wedge holes(15). One side of the side rail is fixed on the rail fixing member and guides a door member. The access panel is installed on the top of the entrance and prevents the end of the entrance side rail from being exposed to the outside. The wedges are formed in the end of the receiving part rail and are inserted in the wedge holes of the rail fixing member. The fastening members are fastened to the rail fixing member through multiple through-holes formed in one end of the entrance rail. |
