PURPOSE: An active-type current collector device and a control method thereof are provided to confirm the position of a power feeding device by installing the current collector device on the bottom surface of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An active-type current collector device comprises a stag(100), a moving unit(200), a current collecting unit(300), a measuring unit(400), and a correction control unit(500). The stage is installed on the bottom surface of a vehicle. The moving unit is installed on the stage and is moved in a direction crossing the traveling direction of the vehicle. The current collecting unit is installed on the moving unit and receives power from a power feeding device. The measuring unit is installed on the bottom surface of the vehicle and measures the position of the power feeding device. The correction control unit controls the operation of the moving unit. |
