PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively sterilize bacteria attached to clothing.SOLUTION: A clothing drying machine includes: heating means 5 and 16 for heating drying air blown by blowing means 9; temperature detection means 18 for detecting a temperature of the drying air; tangle detection means 20 for detecting tangling of clothing and the like put into a drum 1; and control means 22 for controlling a drying operation. The heating means 5 and 16 have a first temperature set in the drying operation and a second temperature set in a sterilizing operation. The control means 22 can execute an untangling operation when the tangle detection means 20 detects a tangled state of the clothing and the like, and can execute the sterilizing operation by heating the drying air to the second temperature higher than the first temperature when the tangle detection means detects an untangled state of the clothing and the like. |
