A color filter array for a color imaging element (26) is configured by repeatedly arranging, in the horizontal and vertical direction, a basic array pattern (P1) comprising RGB filters (23R, 23G, 23B) arranged in an array pattern of 6×6 pixels. The basic array pattern (P1) is configured by a first A array (27a), a second A array (27b), a first B array (28a), and a second B array (28b), which have an array pattern of 3×3 pixels. G filters (23G) are arranged in the outer peripheral sections of the first and second A arrays (27a, 27b) and in the center of the first and second B arrays (28a, 28b). An RB filter (23R, 23B) is arranged in each array (27a, 27b, 28a, 28b), such that at least one is positioned inside each line in the horizontal and vertical directions of the color filter array, inside the basic array pattern (P1). |
