<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate bonding works in situ by a method wherein the vulcanized waterproof rubber sheets are bonded mutually by a room-temperature-vulcanizing adhesive tape consisting of ethylene propylene terpolymer of 5-25 Mooney viscosity containing a vulcanizer and an accelerator. CONSTITUTION:The vulcanizer and the vulcanization accelerator are mixed with a rubber polymer containing at least ethylene propylene terpolymer as a principal constituent and the room-temperature-vulcanizing adhesive tape 2 of 5-25 Mooney viscosity is interposed between the vulcanized waterproof rubber sheets 1, 1' to be bonded and bond them by the room-temperature-vulcanization. A vulcanization device is not necessary and an irregular bonding will never be caused which can be seen in a case where the adhesive agent is utilized, therefore, this technique is effective particularly for bonding large-sized waterproof sheets utilized in civil engineering and construction works such as the constructions of a reservoir, an irrigation channel, an indoor construction, a subway or the like. A self-adhesive power is improved when an adhesive agent is blended, therefore, the sheets will never be slipped out among them even if some force is applied to the sheets.</p> |
