PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit which comes with a number of input/output pins to meet the need for semiconductor integrated circuits in recent years, and which eliminates screws between signals output from I/O cells and is made adaptable to multipin design, thereby solving the problem of the multipin design.SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit shown in Fig. 1 includes a plurality of I/O cells which are each connected to a core region and constitute a signal input/output interface, includes a first placement row and a plurality of I/O cells disposed in parallel to the outer periphery of the semiconductor integrated circuit, and comes with a second placement row disposed between the first placement row and the core region. Further, the I/O cells included in the second placement row are disposed in such a way that they are changed to be arranged point-symmetrically to the I/O cells included in the first placement row across symmetrical points present on a line parallel to the outer periphery of the semiconductor integrated circuit. As a result, the wiring lengths between the core region and the I/O cells are equalized, making it possible to eliminate screws. |
