Provided is a new spinel-type lithium transition metal oxide which enables a high capacity-maintaining ratio during a cycle and enables a high output-maintaining ratio during a cycle. The spinel-type lithium manganese transition metal oxide is characterized in that the angle of repose is 50°-75° and the moisture content (25°C-300°C) as measured by the Karl Fischermethod is greater than 0ppm but less than 400ppm.
