A mould shell for forming a wind turbine blade (20) comprises at least two mould shell sections (401, 402) each having a mould surface with a recessed portion (419, 420) adjoining the connecting edges (407, 408) between the mould shell sections. Abridging sheet (421) is accommodated in the recessed portions(419, 420) of the mould shell sections (401, 402).The bridging sheet (421) fills up the recessed portions. For mutually adjusting first and second mould shell sections (401, 402) of such a mould shell, adjustment means are provided comprising a frame (502) for attachment of said adjustment means (500) and a guide part (503) adapted to slide in said frame (502) in an adjustment direction (520).The guide part shall guide an engagement position of the first mould shell section (401) with said second mould shell section (402) in the adjustment direction (520).
