PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of efficiently displaying various information.SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine includes a panel for displaying an image and a coordinate detector for detecting an instruction coordinate in a display area of the panel. The multifunctional machine displays a plurality of image planes in which various buttons and mark display regions are defined on the panel 50. When the instruction coordinate is a coordinate corresponding to a button, an image plane corresponding to the button is displayed on the panel. On the condition that the instruction coordinate detected in a mark display region is of a touch mode, image planes displayed on the panel at a point of time when the instruction coordinate is detected are stored as favorite image planes. The multifunctional machine displays thumbnails concerning the stored favorite image planes in response to reception of long push input in a mark display region, and receives selection of one of the thumbnails. A favorite image plane concerning the selected thumbnail is displayed on the panel.
