PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin-made lighting cover, which has high optical characteristics and superior flame retardancy, and is suitable particulaly for an LED light source.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin-made lighting cover is obtained by molding a resin composition which includes (A) a linear polycarbonate resin; (B) a branched polycarbonate resin; (C) an organic metal salt compound; (D) a silicone compound which has a main chain of a branched structure and contains an organic functional group composed of an aromatic group or an aromatic group and a hydrocarbon group (except the aromatic group); (E) polycaprolactone; and (F) an acrylic light diffusing agent. The polycarbonate resin-made lighting cover can be suitably used as a lighting cover of a luminaire such as an illuminating lamp, indicator light, fluorescent tube, lighting dome, top light, arcade, or road sidewall board since excellent flame retardancy can be secured without impairing excellent optical characteristics of polycarbonate resin as well as excellent surface appearance. Particularly, the cover is suitably used for a lighting cover of a luminaire using an LED light source. |
