The invention concerns at least one isolated novel phosphotyrosine-binding structure typically, but not exclusively, found in Hakai protein, termed herein the Hakai pTyr-binding (HYB) domain, and its use in a screening assay to identify drugs for treating diseases or conditions characterised by migration or metastasis or invasion or a lack of cell-cell contact, such as cancer.
