PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture read data read by a usual read operation using a boundary scan function.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises at least one memory chip, the memory chip including: a plurality of data input/output terminals for inputting write data to be written in a memory cell array or outputting read data read from the memory cell array; a boundary scan unit having a plurality of IO units each connected to each of the data input/output terminals and boundary wiring connecting each of the IO units to form a cascade connection; a serial data input terminal for inputting serial data to the plurality of IO units through the boundary wiring; a serial data output terminal for outputting serial data from the plurality of IO units through the boundary wiring; and a plurality of transfer gates for connecting each of the plurality of data input/output terminals to the serial data input terminal or the serial data output terminal. |
