<p>Without being restricted by a placement configuration, a sound field control device (101) is capable of appropriately reproducing a desired sound in a listening area and adequately mitigating the sound in the surrounding area of the listening area. The sound field control device (101) is provided with: a listening correction filter (1) by which an input signal from a sound source is signal-processed in accordance with a preset control characteristic, and is output to a second speaker; and a control filter (5-1) by which an output signal from the listening correction filter (1) is signal-processed in accordance with a preset control characteristic, and is output to a first speaker. The control characteristic of the control filter (5-1) is preset to a first control characteristic in which, by means of the playback sound from the first speaker, the playback sound from the second speaker is reduced at a first control position. The control characteristic of the listening correction filter (1) is preset to a second control characteristic in which, by means of the playback sounds from the first and second speakers, a sound having a specified target acoustic characteristic emerges at a second control position.</p> |
