PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified conjugated diene polymer which gives a rubber composition excellent in a balance between low hysteresis loss, wet skid resistance, tensile strength, and abrasion resistance when made into a vulcanizate containing a silica-based inorganic filler.SOLUTION: In a method for producing the modified conjugated diene polymer (C) including a process of preparing a conjugated diene polymer (A) having an active end, and a modification reaction process of mixing and agitating the conjugated diene polymer (A) and a modifying agent (B) having an alkoxysilyl group and reacting them, the agitation power during the agitation in the modification reaction process is 1-50 kW/m. |
