PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting a light guide plate on a curved surface, thereby shortening a delivery time and reducing cost.SOLUTION: A planar light emitting device 10 has a light guide plate mounted in a curved posture along a curved surface and is provided with a flange 24 which is formed in a long and narrow shape along both end faces of the light guide plate 12 and holds the curved posture of the light guide plate 12 in contact, respectively, with both end faces of the light guide plate 12, light sources 33 mounted at the outside of the flange 24, and lenses 34 which are mounted between each light source 33 and the flange 24 corresponding to the light source 33 and transmit light from each light source 33. An opening 35 which passes the light transmitting the lens 34 to a light guide plate 12 side is formed at a position of the flange 24 corresponding to each lens 34. |
