<p>A mechanism (M; 100) is described for lifting a support (P; 16), e.g. for a mattress, with respect to a fixed frame (T; 10) of a piece of furniture, comprising: - a first and second arm (B1, B2; 30, 40) hinged at one end of theirs to the support and at the other end to the frame, so that altogether the arms, frame and support form the four sides of an articulated parallelogram capable of guiding the support lifting it vertically; and blocking means (MS; 80) adapted to block the support in raised position. To simplify the construction, the blocking means are permanently connected to the first arm (B1; 40) and selectively connectable to at least one fixed point (FX; 20, 30, 60) located on at least one of the remaining sides of the articulated parallelogram.</p> |
