PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a composite pigment is provided to manufacture a high purity composite pigment by the reaction of carbon dioxide, which is generated during the refinement of magnesium, with byproducts. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a composite pigment comprises a step of adding seed particles into an aqueous solution with Ca^ (2+); a step of forming a composite pigment by adding carbon dioxide into the aqueous solution; and a step of collecting the composite pigment. The carbon dioxide is formed from a dolomite in a sintering process of the dolomite, or a combustion process of fuel which is consumed by a sintering or heat reduction reaction of the dolomite.
