PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage water heater capable of performing predetermined boiling operation on a day when a reservation is set.SOLUTION: A remote control 48 is used for selecting predetermined boiling operation from boiling items, and a calendar function is used for setting a reservation on a specified day to execute reserved boiling operation to store a desired amount of hot water. As a result, the amount of hot water to be used can be easily reset for conditions of visitors or travel, resulting in improved usability. The amount of hot water to be used on a day when the reserved boiling operation is performed is not stored in a storage means 54 to give no influence to an average amount of hot water to be used, calculated by a learning means 55, and to produce no increase/reduction in the amount of hot water to be stored on a day when normal operation is performed, thus preventing the excess or shortage of hot water to prevent an increase of power consumption. |
