The stator (1) has a laminated core with two metal sheets, where the core has a rotor recess (43) that is designed for receiving a rotor (3). The metal sheets have metal sheet recesses respectively, and the sheet recesses adjoin the rotor recess. One metal sheet is oriented with respect to another metal sheet such that the one of the sheet recesses is offset from the other sheet recess, where the sheet recesses are designed as dovetail slots. The sheet recesses are punched into the sheet metals. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical feed pump (2) a technique for establishing a stator.
