The holding device has a seating (86) for the side panel and a guide element (92) which engages in the guide rail and is displaceably mounted therein, wherein the side panel is held with an upper edge (76) in the holding device. The guide element is arranged outside a plane (E) defined by the side panel seating; the holding device is mounted in the guide rail pivotable about a contact line (96) between the guide element and the guide rail. The plane (E) is offset outwardly relative to the guide rail in relation to the weighing chamber.
