PURPOSE: A medical device and method for correction of adaptive hearing are provided to promote the convenience of an patient with amblyacousia and a patient with tinnitus as a hearing aid function which amplifies external sounds and tinnitus masking sound for treatment of ringing are supplied together or selectively. CONSTITUTION: A medical device and method for correction of adaptive hearing comprises a hearing aid part (230) which converts an external sound signal into an electrical signal and outputs the electrical signal converted after amplification; a communication interface section (210) which forms a downlink with an external terminal capable of communication; a tinnitus treatment section (232) which stores multiple tinnitus masking sounds for the treatment of tinnitus and which outputs the sound masking sound in which volume is manipulated through the setting of a user by putting out the tinnitus masking sound selected from the user; and a control section that selectively activates a channel or two channels in which signals are sent out from the hearing aid part and the tinnitus treatment section according to an operation mode, that duplicates different audio signals entered through the activated channels and sends out the duplicated audio signals to a common channel of the channels.
