The invention relates to device which allows cushioned standing, sitting, or gripping, comprising a carrier element (1) and a cover element (2) arranged on the carrier element (1), said cover element at least partially surrounding the carrier element (1), wherein the cover element (2) is designed and equipped to elastically deform when a user (5) applies pressure (P) on a surface of the cover element (2).
