A composition for coating threads contains two copolymers of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate having molecular weights of 10,000 and 24,000, a plasticiser, and a ketone solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone. The plasticiser may be dioctyl phthalate mixed with dibutyl phthalate or tricresyl phosphate. Pigments or oil-soluble colours may be added. |
