INRUSH CURRENT PROTECTING CIRCUIT OF LOW DROP OUTPUT REGULATOR

PURPOSE: An inrush current protection circuit of a low voltage drop regulator is provided to cut off inrush current by detecting the inrush current when initially driving a low voltage drop regulator. CONSTITUTION: A first transistor (M1) outputs current proportional to current outputted through a pass transistor. A first switch (SW1) is electrically connected in between the first transistor and ground terminal and is turned on for a first time when initial driving of a low voltage drop regulator. A second transistor (M2) is turned one when the first transistor and first switch are turned on. A third transistor (M3) limits output current and output voltage of the pass transistor to first output current and second output voltage, respectively.
