PURPOSE: A device for supplying power to a black box is provided to prevent the disabled state of vehicle ignition due to a dead battery, to protect the engine of a vehicle, to extend the service life of a battery, and to reduce wasted battery generation. CONSTITUTION: A device for supplying power to a black box comprises a battery, a first voltage sensor (100), a power source converting part (200), a second voltage sensor (300), a solar cell (400), a start motor (500), a timer (600), and an alternator (700). The first voltage sensor senses the voltage of a battery. The power source converting part replaces power source supplied to a black box (A) with standby electric power source when battery voltage sensed by the first voltage sensor lowers to a first predetermined level or less. The second voltage sensor senses solar cell voltage which is supplied to the power source converting part. The start motor is operated according to a control signal when solar cell voltage sensed by the second voltage sensor lowers to a second predetermined level or less.
