Class 75(3) [Also in Group XXXII] In a combined rearview mirror 10 and interior lamp 19 for saloon cars &c., the mirror is adjustably mounted on one end 11 of an arm 12 of which the other end is secured to or is integral with a mounting plate or bracket 13 adapted to be secured by screws or like fastening means to a convenient part of the vehicle body, and the lamp 19 is formed with a base 15 which is recessed or cut away to receive and fit over the plate or bracket 13 and to be secured in position by the screws or like fastening means which secure the plate or bracket in position. The lamp incorporates a switch operable by a fingerpiece 29 and wiring is brought into the base 15 through an opening therein which is concealed when the lamp is in position. A transparent or translucent plastic cover 31 is provded for the lamp. |
