PURPOSE: A remote mass measurement and experiment education system is provided to improve the accuracy of supplying, correcting, and testing mass standards and to improve skills, a technique level, and the accuracy in mass measurement and correction of a series weight combination. CONSTITUTION: A remote mass measurement and experiment education system comprises a weight exchanging device(1), a mass comparing device(2), an environment measuring device(3), a control computer(5), a camera(4), and a remote computer(8). The weight exchanging device automatically loads weights selected for a weight combination on a corresponding measuring pan under the control of the control computer. The mass comparing device measures the sum of the selected weights loaded on the measuring pan. The control computer controls the operation of the weight exchanging device so that mass measurement by the correction of the weights and a correction design is performed. The control computer receives measurement values of the mass comparing device and the environment measuring device. The camera photographs the moving state of the weights and inputs the image information to the control computer. The remote computer is connected to the control computer through an internet network(7), thereby receiving the image information from the control computer.
