PURPOSE: A suspension thrust bearing device is provided to significantly improve the sealing and axial retention functions. CONSTITUTION: A suspension thrust bearing device (1) comprises a lower cover (3), an upper cover (4), and a rolling bearing (2). The roller bearing is arranged in between the lower and upper covers. The rolling bearing comprises a lower ring (6), an upper ring (5), and a rolling element. The lower ring is mounted on the lower cover. The upper ring is mounted on the upper cover. The rolling element is arranged in between the lower and upper rings. The lower cover comprises a main body (12) formed with a rigid material part (13) and a flexible material part (114) to form a seal. The upper and lower covers are equipped with locking units (4d,3d) in order to prevent from being axially separated. |
