PURPOSE: A two-row retaining wall structure and soil retaining method is provided to stably support soil in the outer side of an excavation area by dispersing soil pressure applied to a first row retaining wall body to the top and bottom ends of a second row retaining wall body. CONSTITUTION: A two-row retaining wall structure and soil retaining method comprises a first row retaining wall body (100), a second row retaining wall body (200), a connection reinforcement member (300), and an inclination reinforcement member (400). The first row retaining wall body comprises a water barrier wall (110) installed along the boundary line of an excavation area and a first row pile (120) spaced apart from the water barrier wall. The second row retaining wall body comprises a second row pile (210) spaced apart from the first row pile and an earth-flow plate (220) installed in between the second row pile and the second row retaining wall body. The connection and inclination reinforcement members connect the first and second row piles. |
