A tie-bar (16) is proposed for connection at its face with the lateral sections (2a', 2b') of a chain link. The tie-bar (16) is provided with a securing groove (10) which is open to the middle of the chain link, the groove being bounded by two parallel ridges connected by a base plate (11). The securing groove (10) can accommodate elements such as strain relief units (5) for power lines. At least one connection hole can be provided in the base plate and the tie-bar with the chain link creates a possible connection for a power conducting chain at a fixed or moveable point.
