<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to reduce cost by omitting key module configuration. CONSTITUTION: An exterior component forms the outer surface. An acoustic sensor (160) is equipped with a sound wave detection surface. The sound wave detection surface is pressed to the inside of the exterior component in order to detect a sound wave delivered to the inside by using the exterior component as a medium. A control part is connected with the acoustic sensor. The control part finds a generation point of the sound wave on the surface of the exterior component based on a signal delivered from the acoustic sensor.</p>
