摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode for a lithium secondary battery which has a large charge/discharge capacity, a high charge/discharge efficiency, a flat discharging curve, and excellent charge/discharge cycle life characteristics, and provide a lithium secondary battery provided with the above anode. <P>SOLUTION: The anode for a lithium secondary battery is provided with an active substance layer consisting of a metal-carbon compound active substance particles composed of at least one active substance selected from metal or oxide metal and a carbon group active substance, elastic graphite particles, and a binder for binding alternately the above active particles and the graphite particles, and with a current collector on the surface of which the above active substance layer is laminated.
