PURPOSE: A method and a device to manufacture for an inflator of a vehicle airbag are provided to rapidly manufacture by manufacturing a filter in a process in which a metal mesh pipe made of double layers is pressed and rolled. CONSTITUTION: A device to manufacture for an inflator of a vehicle airbag comprises an automatic compressor (100) and a press member (200). The automatic compressor includes a frame, a supply member, a molding member, a pressing member, a rolling member, a discharging member, and a transfer member. The rolling member is equipped on one side of the pressing member and maintains a shape of a pipe by rolling the outer surface of a metal mesh pipe made of double layers. The transfer member is installed in an upper part of the frame and sequentially transfers the metal mesh pipe to each member. The pressing member is made of double layers in the automatic compressor and includes a first press (210) and a second press (220) to complete a filter by pressing.
