PURPOSE: A device and method for recognizing product components are provided to increase a mounting rate of components by estimating a pose angle and kinds using feature vectors. CONSTITUTION: An image pre-processing unit of a learning unit (100) detects a component area using a component edge by extracting each component edge from inputted component images. A feature extractor of the learning unit extracts component features in the component area, and generates the feature vectors using the component features. A recognition unit (200) inputs the feature vectors in a nerve network in advance in order to recognize the type of the component.
