METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REDUCING EDGE BULGING IN TWIN ROLL STRIP CASTING PROCESS

PURPOSE: An edge bulging reduction method in a twin roll strip casting process and a system thereof are provided to determine incomplete coagulation or excessive coagulation by measuring the temperature of plate or the bulging of edge part, thereby controlling the variable of thin film casting machine. CONSTITUTION: An edge bulging reduction method in a twin roll strip casting process comprises the following steps of: measuring the temperature of thin film and the shape of edge part; determining the coagulation state of edge part by analyzing the measured temperature and the shape of edge part; and controlling the casting variable of casting machine according to the determined coagulation state.
